The fascination with human movement started way back when I was a teenager in the full swing of my dancing career. After a few years of involvement in various dance competitions and working backstage with some of the most talented performers in West End, I realised, that my true passion lays not so much with being on the stage, but in improving the performance of others and seeing their skillset grow.

It was then, when I decided to step away from competitive dancing and dedicate my time to studying human anatomy and biomechanics of movement-I dropped the glamourous heels and dresses and started a full-time career as a Personal Trainer.

Nearly a decade later and after having had a chance to work with some of the most challenging cases, as well as everyday people with the most challenging lives-I have gained a new-found appreciation for human body and mind. I have learned how to overcome tight schedules and those days when you just rather stay in bed, as well as how to help people, who wanted to push their physical performance beyond the expected.

I believe in an unbreakable connection between health and fitness and use that holistic approach to help my Clients achieve their goals faster, tailoring their programmes to their very personal needs. A strong, balanced, mobile body, is the healthy body I want for all of them.

Apparently, my personality is quite bearable too!

Experienced in delivering results-orientated exercise sessions and providing evidence-based nutritional interventions, Sergio is a Senior Trainer and Performance Nutritionist. He has an extensive knowledge of both training and nutrition and merges his experience in both areas to achieve great results with clients.

With an insatiable desire for continued self-development and upskilling of his service, Sergio has a great deal to offer any level of athlete.

Along my professional career, I continually upskilled my service by completing numerous courses and highly respected industry-leading certifications.

Upon completion of my undergraduate degree in 2011, I created my own Personal Training Business. Over the next 4 years, I specialized in strength and conditioning programs aimed at increasing well-being and performance in clients.

In 2015, I relocated to a highly respected personal training studio in London. I gained invaluable experience working alongside a great team. Here my clients ranged hugely from high-end private clients to amateur athletes across multiple sports.

Once I completed my MSc I then relocated again this time with the title of “Master Trainer”. I assisted other coaches in the development of their business and service to ensure the highest of standards were provided. This role challenged my educational skills and I developed my own knowledge and communicational skills through educating other Trainers.

I now manage the Athletes Services (AS) Program at Perfect Balance which includes a range of specialist services linked together to supplement athletes coaching and training program. AS ensures you are given a full support network that provides an all-in-one package tailored to improve performance. The system also includes regular monitoring and performance testing to ensure results are achieved.
